Challenges we address

Residents of many areas, common or elite, sense that the level of common services and facilities, and their outcomes in their communities are very much below their expectations (children are not able to read simple text (primary education), solid waste littering on streets, no open space, dusty streets, encroachments, needy are not helped etc.).

But at the same time, many basic facilities can easily be created or improved by resident’s own collective initiatives.

Many residents have little or no direct contributions or participation to improve their common services and facilities.

These are two related basic challenges we are addressing through our Niwasi Initiative.
